A way versus the only way! These two important options move from the
general to the specific, from multiple options to an absolute
exclusivity. The correct view of religion usually belongs to one of
these philosophies. People either believe one can go to heaven by
subscribing to any religion or by subscribing to the one true religion.

Harvest Church believes and teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to
God and heaven. We understand that such a statement is offensive to
some, insulting to others, and possibly naive to still others. After all,
some would say, roughly four of the five billion people on the earth do
not follow the Bible’s teachings. How can so many people be wrong?

Harvest Church understands that there are many areas of life where more
than one option is legitimate. Yet, there are also areas of life where
there is only one correct solution. Matters of life and death seldom
have the luxury of multiple possibilities. Life after death is just such
an issue.

Christ, Messiah, Anointed: these three words mean the same thing.
Basically, we could summarize the meaning like this: God’s solution to
all of man’s problems—sin, death, and eternal judgment. That solution
has a name, Jesus Christ. Christ is the title and Jesus is the name.

One Bible writer put it this way, "And there is salvation in no one
else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by
which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). This statement and others like it
forms the basis of our exclusive claim. Jesus, the Christ, is God’s only
solution for the world’s problems. To reject it, deny it or ignore it
will prove disastrous! One will need to prove the biblical writer – a
liar; the Bible in error; Jesus insane; history deceived – and our own
personal experience invalid to sustain a charge that there are other ways.
